Public bug reported: After logging in to Unity session, image of login screen doesn't disappear until starting nautilus. What I mean when I say "image of login screen" is that consider you take picture of login screen and use that picture as wallpaper. If I open nautilus, that picture disappears. Let me explain the situation with 2 pictures. The first one[1] was taken after I log in to session. The second one[2] was taken after I start nautilus.
What I expected to happen: After logging in Unity session, the dots, the box on which we write our password should have disappeard. What actually happened: None of them disappeared. Steps to produce: 1- Start computer 2- Write down user password to box on Lightdm screen 3- Push enter [1] http://ompldr.org/vaHczNQ/afterlogin.png [2] http://ompldr.org/vaHczNg/afternautilus.png ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04 Package: nautilus 1:3.6.3-0ubuntu12 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-14.24-generic 3.8.4 Uname: Linux 3.8.0-14-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.9.2-0ubuntu4 Architecture: amd64 Date: Tue Mar 26 20:00:55 2013 GsettingsChanges: b'org.gnome.nautilus.window-state' b'geometry' b"'884x474+210+139'" InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-12-07 (108 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.10 "Quantal Quetzal" - Release amd64 (20121017.5) MarkForUpload: True SourcePackage: nautilus UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to raring on 2013-03-26 (0 days ago) ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug raring ** Attachment added: "afterlogin.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1160514/+attachment/3599192/+files/afterlogin.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1160514 Title: Image of login screen doesn't disappear until starting nautilus Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: After logging in to Unity session, image of login screen doesn't disappear until starting nautilus.
