Fixed!!
Just copy the attachment to /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/ :
sudo cp 12d1\:1446 /etc/usb_modeswitch.d/
Working properly for me now.
Tested on Huawei EC1260.

Working correctly in Fedora 18 with usb-modeswitch version 1.2.6.
Maybe problem is in Ubuntu version (1.2.3)
