Public bug reported: Shalom! I found that the program gnome-dictionary does not properly handle a Format Code. We are talking about the Formatting Code \ .......... \. This code is placed around the text that should appear in italics. Infidelity displaying is that the program takes a sequence of two characters " \" (space + back slash) for the beginning from which the text begins to appear in italics, but at the end of this action incorrectly perceives first met space, instead of to take for the end the second back slash. As a demonstration of this error can be a dictionary under the title "The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48", which is on the server dict://dict.org, (or package dict-gcide in Ubuntu). Enter the phrase: "Point man". On the screen shot (in Attachment), we see that the word Point" is shown in italics, and the second word man`\ - no. And at the end we see the Unmatched Formatting code - "\" (back slash).
