I manage to connect the headset.
Actually, the pairing process is not the same in other devices, and has to be
activated by turning on the headset by pushing the "on" button untill the LED
starts flashing white and blue alternately (as said here

Recently migrating from 12.04 through 12.10 and 13.04 : Bug encountered
with each version.

** Description changed:
I cannot pair my Philips SHB 9100 headset with ubuntu.
It works well with any phone, but is not seen with ubuntu's bluetooth
assistant, neither hcitool.
"hcitool scan" gives nothing.
I'm able to see and pair other devices such as samsung HM1800 earpiece.
