Sure, I could file another Xorg bug. But, like I said (maybe not clearly), I don't think this is a Xorg issue at all. The problem is in Unity, I think. With workspaces enabled, the overlay becomes too big for a screen with a height of 768 (or less), so it's not displayed. But, if you insist I
