Public bug reported:

Hi,

Tested on precise (gnome-screenshot version 3.4.1-0ubuntu1.1), running
Unity.

This problem happens in multi-monitor setups where the screens don't all
have the same size. It's been reproduced with 3 and 4 screens.

The issue is that when using the 'Select Area to Grab' option of gnome-
screenshot in such a setup, the area selected and the area actually
grabbed in the screenshot are not the same. This is likely caused by
some offset that is not being taken into account.

I'll be attaching a few images to illustrate the problem, one with the
whole desktop, where it's clear the the monitors don't all have the same
sizes (or orientation). One with the selected window correctly
captured, and one with a selected area captured which should match the
selected window image, but doesn't.

** Affects: gnome-screenshot (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Attachment added: "Image showing an affected setup"
