You have been subscribed to a public bug: In Arabic, Persian, Urdu, etc there are two similar characters:
1) The character ۀ (info: http://graphemica.com/%DB%80) and 2) The character ه (info: http://graphemica.com/%DB%95) I have assigned a key in keyboard to the first one in a language layout, there's also a default key for the second one. But when I press the key for the second character, several times this is what I get: هههههههه; as desired (every character finding its appropriate connected form). But when I press the key for the first one several times: ۀۀۀۀۀۀۀ. Just the isolated form (why aren't connected morphs of the character inserted instead?). In Ms Windows there's not such problem. ** Affects: unity-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Assignee: irancplusplus (irancplusplus) Status: New -- The rules for isolated and connceted forms of character (ۀ) not implemented. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1261625 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity-control-center in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
