Appearing keyring password dialog in Chromium web browser after
automatic login setup problem can be solved by instaling gdm and purging
lightdm package (sudo apt-get install gdm sudo apt-get purge lightdm
). Sometimes keyring password dialog problem can be fixed only after
creating a new user.

Btw, I've noticed, that seahorse and GNOME Shell in Ubuntu 14.04 (Trusty) with
lightdm crashes if you enter a blank password in Seahorse keyring password
changing dialog.
But crash doesn't appear when lightdm is removed and gdm is used instead,
that's why keyring password dialog in Chromium web
Btw, I've noticed, that seahorse and GNOME Shell in Ubuntu 14.04
(Trusty) crashes if you enter a blank password in Seahorse keyring
password changing dialog.

Thank you for your bug report, that's not a bug though. The purpose of a
keyring is to provide secure storing, if you could access the stored
passwords without using any authentification then anyone could read
those. You can always set no password on your keyring if that's what you
want though

I can type my login password then enter.
But if I just close that dialog there is no difference.
So, I do not think this bug is invalid.

like what? you are just bugging the wrong people/component, chrome uses
gnome-keyring to have a secure storage, if you want that to be optional
file a bug against chrome, gnome-keyring is just doing its job by
protecting your credential by a password, that's what the component is
for there
