i have the same problem, i fix it adding i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset to the grub, but when i close the lid of the laptop and open it ( starting suspend mode and starting the laptop again (after suspend) ) the mouse stops working so i need to restart and it work again. :/ can i add the i8042.nomux=1
