Public bug reported: When gnome-terminal (also with gedit, system-monitor) is maximized: 1. It cannot be unmaximized by double-clicking the title bar. 2. It does not show the control box with close, unmaximize and minimize buttons.
This functionality is restored if I Alt+Tab to another window and then Alt+Tab back. Notice that this is using the standard behavior of menus showing on the top bar and not on the window. --- Edit> --- Probably related to this. When the option to show menues in the window is selected. A recently maximized window would show the control box and the title in the top bar. However moving the mouse over will not display the menu. The menu is still accessible if you click on the right location, it does show the menu, however the title of the menu is still not visible. --- <Edit --- ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: unity 7.2.0+14.04.20140403-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.13.0-23.45-generic 3.13.8 Uname: Linux 3.13.0-23-generic i686 ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu1 Architecture: i386 CompizPlugins: [core, composite, opengl, compiztoolbox, decor, vpswitch, snap, mousepoll, resize, place, move, wall, grid, regex, imgpng, session, gnomecompat, animation, fade, unitymtgrabhandles, workarounds, scale, expo, ezoom, unityshell] CurrentDesktop: Unity Date: Sun Apr 6 11:49:20 2014 InstallationDate: Installed on 2012-05-26 (679 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS "Precise Pangolin" - Release i386 (20120423) SourcePackage: unity UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to trusty on 2014-04-05 (0 days ago) ** Affects: unity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 trusty -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to unity in Ubuntu.
