Public bug reported: I'm using Ubuntu 14.10 dev with xscreensaver 5.26-1ubuntu2 and normally xscreensaver must run in the background to be able to lock the screen. If xscreensaver is not running and the screen is trying to be locked this happens: sworddragon@ubuntu:~$ xscreensaver-command -lock x
