Title:
Totem: no playback without a soundcard

Status in Totem Movie Player:
  Fix Released
Status in “totem” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Totem (gstreamer) doesn't seem to play video files or DVDs without a soundcard
present. When I click on a video file or open it from Totem, the playback
doesn't start at all or stops very soon and the following error message is
shown
(most of the times): "Failed to write data to the esound daemon". After
closing
the error message, playback still doesn't work. I guess it would be good to
have
playback working without a soundcard too.

  Thanks :)
