Shotwell display badly hashed. Image Viewer display just fine. Both on the screen at the same time in the attached screenshot. How do I get the display routine used by Image Viewer to be used by Shotwell and Lightdm? Note, part of screen behind the images shows badly hashed unreadable desktop.

15.10 (daily 10.09.2015) is completely hashed. It is unusable on Lenovo m58p (intel q43/45). Since it is getting worse I don't think that this bug will be fixed soon. Maybe the solution is to switch to different flavor/distro. The issue may be fixed when Ubuntu switch to Mir and Unity 8. Until
