I experience bad performance with accelerated compositing mode on using WebkitGTK+ 2.22.5 on Fedora 29 with Intel Iris 540 (Skylake mobile) graphics. Turning it off makes pretty much everything faster, but particularly Facebook, which is nearly unusable with accelerated compositing on. Also, when

bagl0312, Chrome doesn't use WebKit; they use Blink (which is admittedly a webkitgtk fork). You already have the latest webkit2gtk since those are being pushed out as security updates to Ubuntu 16.04 LTS. The webkit2gtk fix was a workaround according to the webkitgtk developers. That's why the xor
