Bug: The app have no icons in the launcher, but? they appear inside the
app when i have to choose the office tools im going to use (writer,
calc...), the icons inside the file manager appears too.
Versions:
Ubuntu 16.04
Libreoffice 5.3.1.2
How i have installed:
sudo snap install libreoffice
Run
When starting the Libre Office snap in the terminal, there are a lot of
messages, that the icon is missing:
alex@ubuntu:~$ /snap/bin/libreoffice
datahome: /home/alex/snap/libreoffice/17/.local-5.3.0.3/share
(soffice:14838): Gtk-WARNING **: Locale not supported by C library.
Using the fall
I am using Ubuntu 16.04.2 and also don't have icons when installing Libre
Office via snap.
Yes, there are icons, grey with a questionmark inside.
So I removed the snap and using .deb again.

I can confirm this. My system is Ubuntu 16.04.1.
I have installed libreoffice via
sudo snap install libreoffice
and I have no icons.
