Maybe some patch for the source deb file? Anyway, this should be done by

Yes, but it would probably not be so meaningful, because if it's not fixed in

I built the package locally, and noticed this line in the log:
make[1]: 'gnome-software.pot' is up to date.
So there seems to be a need to update the translation template somehow.
