Public bug reported: Running Ubuntu 17.04, AMD HD 7420G. I have difficulties in trying to configure an external monitor via VGA (HDMI works perfectly), the system crashes whenever I switch to extended mode. Sometimes I get one monitor switched on while the other off but never duplicate mode working perfectly nor extended mode. In the end the function never works.
