@jik, I think that you need the package gnome-remote-desktop, this has a
MIR request in bug 1802614. And then another package will need to
recommend it to have it installed by default, you can follow this on the

This is still an issue on Ubuntu 20.10, while the GNOME Shell remote-
desktop / screencast support on Wayland has been enabled for Fedora and
other distributions for some time now.
What is Ubuntu holding back from enabling Wayland remote-desktop support

No, pipewire is not in main. That link in comment #3 shows it is in
Universe.
(Additionally, the version is not new enough for mutter 3.36; we need
Pipewire 0.3 for that.)
