*** This bug is a security vulnerability *** Public security bug reported:
In Ubuntu 14.04 I recently updated firefox 57.0 to 58.0+build6-0ubuntu0.14.04.1. Installation was smooth, but the firefox screen has been blank since. Everything is working again if I downgrade to 57.0.4+build1-0ubuntu0.14.04.1 Is anybody experiencing this problem? Being concerned about security (it was a security update), I have switched to firefox-esr. Does this sound reasonable? ** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Information type changed from Private Security to Public Security -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to firefox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1745960 Title: blank screen after upgrade to firefox:amd64 58.0+build6-0ubuntu0.14.04.1 Status in firefox package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: In Ubuntu 14.04 I recently updated firefox 57.0 to 58.0+build6-0ubuntu0.14.04.1.
