I dont use Ubuntu. It seems to be the Transmission developers "fault" that a newer translation is not included in releases. The translation included in Transmission does not seem to have been changed/updated since 2012 even though there have been multiple releases since. I wrote on https://githu

Thank you for your bug report. What Ubuntu version do you use and what translation not being outdated do you see? As mentioned in the previous comment launchpad imports the translations from the upstream tarball when the package is built so the status should reflact what was in the upstream version
