Public bug reported:

Using the Groupedbar Compact user interface and tiling the window to
half the screen by moving it to the right, expanding then collapsing
grouped bar (by pressing the arrow (->) to the right of the Font group
then clicking off the expansion (it should bring up the Paragraph,
Insert, References, Review, and View groups)) moves the Font group to
the expansion and results in a fair amount of grey space where the Font
group was previously. Re-maximizing the window and then re-tiling to
half the screen usually corrects this effect.

Possible that this is an upstream bug but wanted to file here (partially
for Olivier's opinion) before filing upstream.
