I'm pretty sure, that there is *really* no extension any more:
* uninstalled all shell extensions (browser interface, command line, even
gnome-shell-extensions)
* cleared $HOME/.cache
* deleted $HOME/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/
however
"apport-collect" and "gsettings get org.gnome.shell
I reinstalled them after the first (unsuccessful) apport-collect. I will
re-uninstall them ;)

Thanks. Though #1 didn't work for some reason... Could you perhaps
please log the bug again by running this command:
ubuntu-bug gnome-shell
And then we can just make this a duplicate of that.
The reason is that we still don't have any system details, which should
have been uploaded by 'apport-
1.) done
2.) uninstalled all gnome-shell*
dpkg -l |grep gnome-shell
ii gnome-shell 3.31.90-1ubuntu1 amd64 graphical shell for the GNOME desktop
ii gnome-shell-common 3.31.90-1ubuntu1 all common files for the GNOME
graphical shell
ii yaru-theme-gnome-shell
Problem persists.
Using X: ctrl
Please:
1. Run 'apport-collect 1817335' to send us more information about the
machine.
2. Try uninstalling ALL gnome-shell extensions you have added, reboot
and tell us if the problem persists.
