Title: can't add file to the archive if archive name is without extension Status in File Roller: Confirmed Status in file-roller package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: Binary package hint: file-roller If a filename of the archive does not contains an extension (e.g. *.zip) adding files to the archive leads to creation of a new archive instead changing original one. Example: - create a ZIP archive and name it 'foo' (not 'foo.zip') - open it in FileRoller - add a new file to the archive by dragging some file from Nautilus to FileRoller window Expected behavior - dragged file should be added to the 'foo' archive Current behavior - a new archive named 'foo.zip' is created, dragged file is added to this archive Ubuntu 7.10, file-roller-2.20.1-0ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/file-roller/+bug/181975/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
