Public bug reported: I regularly run weechat inside gnome-terminal, and it routinely becomes corrupted. It's hard to say whether this is a gnome-terminal bug, but I've seen it on different machines.
The problem is perhaps best shown through a screenshot (attached). You can see the statusbar in the second to last row incorrectly contains the words "I would" that were displayed elsewhere in the terminal but weechat at some point. Normal usage of weechat results in tabs that have corruption in other rows, but I wasn't readily able to find an example with non-sensitive information.
