Apologies for the delayed reply. I've done some additional testing, including the Wayland session. Here my findings: removed .config/monitors.xml and .config/monitors.xml~ unplugged monitor cable, unplugged monitor power shutdown > start-up Set display preferences for single/laptop screen shutdow
