download speed.
I have an HP OMEN gaming laptop that cannot get pass 80mbps to download
speed.
Can you help me out with how to report this?

You don't need to shut down. I already gave a workaround in comment #23:
Close and reopen Chrome after resuming from suspend/hibernation. Then
use Ctrl+Shift+T to restore your previous tabs.

The Chrome reference is in comment #21.
And no it's probably not feasible to fix all apps. But then only OpenGL
apps/toolkits need fixing, which is not all apps. We only have two other
choices:
* Don't use the Nvidia driver; or
* Wait for Nvidia to redesign their driver

Daniel, do you have a reference to the chrome fix for this?
I'm seeing problems in vscode, wine and also in kde settings app.
Is it really feasible to fix this in all apps?

No, I meant that it has to be fixed by the Chrome developers. It looks
like that's in progress now.
If you need a workaround then I can only suggest closing and reopening
Chrome after resuming from suspend/hibernation. Then use Ctrl+Shift+T to
restore your previous tabs.

Absolutely right. The screenshot in comment #11 appears to be this bug
and it's the same kind of issue as bug 1855757 / bug 1809407, which is
caused by the design of the Nvidia Linux driver:

I have had this problem both on 20.04 and now in 20.10 (and long before those).
I believe it is same as

I tried the instructions in

By just comparing the screenshots, this looks more similar to bug
#1855757. But I'll let Daniel comment as he's more familiar with graphic

It's that distort box on the top left corner. sometimes, it will fill up my

I am thinking this sounds a lot like bug 1893217.
