This yields empty, I've searched over periods that I know the server
crashed, but nothing.

The "Assertion" prefix might be localized to PL so try searching
something like:
journalctl -b-1 | grep dixGetPrivateAddr
I am confident it will end up being bug 1861609 but it doesn't hurt to
check.

Looks like an assertion failure so this is probably bug 1861609. Please
try installing the debug symbols to see if that clarifies the situation
next time it crashes.
