Public bug reported: The eth0 rename fix introduced in 20.10.1, and removed in 22.04.1 unfortunately causes problems on upgrade from impish to jammy as the file (/etc/netplan/10-rpi-ethernet-eth0.yaml) still remains in place, and the new netplan version on jammy chokes on the space-separated driver filter.
This results in the entire netplan configuration failing to apply, with the result that the network doesn't come up. ** Affects: ubuntu-settings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Confirmed ** Tags: raspi-image rls-jj-incoming -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to ubuntu-settings in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1961618 Title: Pi server image no longer connects to eth0 after upgrade to jammy Status in ubuntu-settings package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: The eth0 rename fix introduced in 20.10.1, and removed in 22.04.1 unfortunately causes problems on upgrade from impish to jammy as the file (/etc/netplan/10-rpi-ethernet-eth0.yaml) still remains in place, and the new netplan version on jammy chokes on the space-separated driver filter.
