Marking it as a duplicate of a 6 year old bug in 16.04 Xenial is like saying:
WILL NEVER FIX.
Especially while in Xubuntu 16.04 Xenial this problem didn't exist

Firefox in 16.04 wasn't installed as a snap, whereas in 22.04 it is a
snap by default. So it is indeed a duplicate of bug #1593407.

Firefox in the guest account on Xubuntu 16.04 Xenial works fine, so it is NOT a
