Thanks for the bug report. Please try deleting all local extensions:

  cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
  rm -rf extensions

then log in again. Does the leak still occur? If so then are you perhaps
describing bug 1995924?

Please also attach evidence showing which process is leaking.
