Hey @vanvugt, I just wanted to share that I figured out the problem.
Apparently, I experienced the same thing in all the distros I tried. It
was a hardware issue that caused the whole ruckus. My laptop is an ASUS
TUF Gaming F15 FX506HCB, and these laptops are known for their faulty
MediaTek Wi-Fi 6
Great to hear. By chance I also fixed a laptop's broken wifi just last
night by replacing the MediaTek card with an old Intel one.
