Title:
[intrepid] deskjet ioerror on any output

Status in hplip package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Any output (including the test page) to my deskjet 932C via hplip
produces, first, an unending blinking orange light, and then, after
pressing page eject, the following errors on the page:

  Error: /ioerror in --showpage--
  Operand stack:
  --nostringval-- 1 true
Execut (the rest is cut off)

This all works fine in Hardy. My version there is 2.8.2 and device
  manager 11.0. Under Intrepid it's 2.8.7 and 14.0, respectively.

Although my printer is a 932C it has always been recognized and
  successfully operated by hplip as a 930C, so I don't think that's
  likely to be the problem.
