Title:
  Screen freezes after gdm login

Status in gnome-session package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I just upgraded from intrepid to jaunty, and after logging in to GDM,
I get a blank screen with a non-spinning cursor. It never finishes
logging in. This is on a version 2 MacBook. I upgraded to the most
recent jaunty packages (as of 3-17-2009), and that did not make a
difference. Here is my xsession-errors output:

  /etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup...
Setting IM through im-switch for locale=en_US.
Start IM through /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/all_ALL linked to
/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/default.
