Title:
gnome-terminal does not recognize sftp:// urls (thinks they're ftp
  urls)

Status in GNOME Terminal:
  Fix Released
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

If I have the following text in a gnome-terminal window:

  sftp://foo.example.com/bar

gnome-terminal will not match the leading 's' character, resulting in
an ftp url, not an sftp one. This makes url grabbing and opening not
  work so well.

It should recognize sftp urls as well as ftp urls.
