according to upstream this is fixed. links in launchpad seem to open in new tabs fine. is there an example to test on?

The menu in the top left of your Launchpad screen looks very nice and is very functional, but the images are not treated as links. This means that I cannot Ctrl+click or middle click them to open them in a new tab (they always open in the current tab) or even right-click them and choose open link in New Tab. As I see it, if it is a link (i.e. if you click it, it will take you somewhere) then all the link options should be available.
