Attempting to plug-in external projector makes the computer freeze, even just opening the display dialog with a projector connected makes it freeze (no mouse movement). Booting up with projector plugged in results in many out of memory errors until eventually the kernel panics due to out of memory. The problem is fixed in linux 2.6.33-rc1.
