Title:
  Problem with random number generator.

Status in “gnome-games” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-games

  Gentlemen,

I know this is trivial but here is the problem that I noticed, There
is no security problems and the program doesn't crash but it is faulty
nonetheless. I have been playing "AsileRiot Solitare - Klondike" and
I noticed that the cards as dealt were not random it the least.
(Yes, I know about random number generators and how they are not truly
random, I have an advanced degree in Computer Science.) If you play a
few times you will notice that the cards dealt are always very close
  to each other.

For example: if an eight is at the top of a stack, there is a very good
chance that at least two of the remaining eights are also at the top of a
stack. There also is a high probability that sevens or nines will also be at
the top of a stack. I think you need to work on your card dealing routine. I
suggest that a good random number generator be used. If the other card games
use this same card dealing routine, they also will be affected.
   best wishes

  William Stanley
