It seems a really old issue. I'm experiencing the same problem on Xubuntu 12.04 in 2014 and the listed kernel link not exist anymore. I confirm the svideo was working perfectly with windows xp, but i don't wanna go back to that rubbish. Please if there anyone who could solve this problem, let me
