I have the same problem that table borders of a Word-2007-docx-document
are not displayed correctly after opened with LO-writer. Though there is
a border in the original word2007 document, the border style
I've checked the original file on Libreoffice 3.5.2.2, and the table
lines are no longer visible, and in table properties the line
arrangement is set to 'set no borders'.

I've checked the original docx file (attachment 1 above) in 3.5 beta2,
and the table lines show clearly.
Curiously, when the original word docx file is opened in 3.5, an extra
line is inserted at the top of pages 2 and 3, which results in the table
on page 3 extending into page 4.
