Title:
banshee resets volume on track change

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

While playing an mp3 track, if I set a volume level, it behaves like it
should, but then the track changes (or I trigger it) and volume level rises to
a max(?) value. The volume slider stays unchanged, and if I touch it, the
volume immediately falls to the previous level. This issue can be reproduced
regardless of ReplayGain is on or off. Also, on my machine the equalizer has no
effect.
  Ubuntu 11.04
  banshee 2.0.0-2ubuntu1
  amd64
