Maybe this is a new bug - see attached. First seen In Libreoffice
version 4.2.6.3. Scalable brackets now appear as bold. It makes maths
look ugly. Peter

I guess I should also add, here is an example of a large math formula
with scalable brackets rendered in LaTeX, to give an example of how it
should look.
