It seems that they have removed the themes from the appearance tool, and
instead this is possible through gnome-tweak-tool. Be careful when
adding themes though, as they may not work correctly with Unity.

Can't install themes
Status in “gnome-control-center”
There is no option(button) to install themes.
I tried copying themes to the ~/.themes folder, but they still don't appear on
the theme selection list.
