2.0.1-0ubuntu2
I am marking this as a duplicate of bug 865115 as it seems to be two
different descriptions of the same problem with the same solut

2.0.1-0ubuntu2 from the stable updates and see if that solves you issue

Indeed just tested and it's definitely not cause by Dropbox but by
nautilus-open-terminal for me. I uninstalled it and kept Dropbox running
and now it working well.

This exact bug is effecting me too and I don't have drop box, but I do
have nautilus-open-terminal installed, so it is likely that that is the
culprit. I'll try uninstalling it and see how it goes over the next few
days.

After uninstalling nautilus-open-terminal, the problem ends. At least on
a 11.10 64-bits.

@Sunil, it's not necessary to uninstall Dropbox, just close it (Quit
Dropbox) and see if that makes Nautilus stable.

I have the same problem in a 64 bits Ubuntu 11.04. The problem seems
related to Dropbox.
When Nautilus crashes, opening it from a terminal (with Dropbox opened)
yields:
emrys@emryslaptop:~$ nautilus

Installing DropBox seemed to have restarted Nautilus, but just for ONE
time.
Issuing nautilus in a terminal allowed Nautilus to run almost normally.
But after quitting (^C in the terminal), next invocations of nautilus
crashed again with segmentation fault.

I have 2 machines : a laptop running i386 architecture : NO problem
The second one runs amd64 archiecture and is affected by the problem.
Both has been upgraded from 11.04 to 10.10
