When I have an external monitor attached to my laptop (via VGA in my
test case), the laptop display is not switched off when I close the lid.
However, main screen is switched to external monitor.
I played around with opening and closing the lid then and suddenly I
found the internal LCD display going off when I opened it and then both
displays switched off. Only way to restore was reboot.
Display is not mirrored.
