I made a few tests as well, and these are some notes that apply to both
Natty and Oneiric:
* If I install, upgrade or downgrade language-selector using
'sudo dpkg -i ...' or 'sudo apt-get install ...' in a terminal
window, a symlink is added if
- language-selector spots a CJK language as my
Chinese (traditional) has the same issue.
** Description changed:
There are several fontconfig files for CJK users in /etc/fonts/conf.avil/
started with "69-language-selector-".
But in Oneiric, language-selector doesn't make symbolic links to
/etc/fonts/conf.d/ automatically.
