Another thing I noticed. When Gedit is opened from launcher, it has icon, then when I open some file from Nautilus (double click) it opens file in a new window instead in a new tab in already opened Gedit instance. Is this expected behavior? I'm afraid I have two Gedits installed, one invalid

Ah, ok. After removing .desktop files and restarting session, problem is solved. Everything works now except now Epiphany was default app in Nautilus instead Gedit, but that was easy to change. I don't know how come I have 4 .desktop files for Gedit, probably updates, uninstall/install.
