Public bug reported:

Hey there...

1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System ->
About Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 11.10
Release: 11.10

2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy pkgname' or
by checking in Software Center
nautilus:
  Installiert: 1:3.2.1-0ubuntu1
  Kandidat: 1:3.2.1-0ubuntu2
  Versionstabelle:
     1:3.2.1-0ubuntu2 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric-updates/main i386
Packages
 *** 1:3.2.1-0ubuntu1 0
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     1:3.2.0-0ubuntu5 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main i386 Packages

3) What you expected to happen
I used the autolocator function in nautilus, i.e. typing the first letters of
the file/folder I was looking for. This worked. Then I tried to erase some
letters to change my search. I used the backspace key for this. I expected
nautilus to erase the letters I typed before that.

4) What happened instead
Instead, nautilus went up in the folder hiearchy. Yet this should only happen
when not using the autolocator and it worked before upgrading to 11.10.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
