No its still there in 3.5.0
What have been changed is that /usr/bin/libreoffice now is a link,
but not to /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin but rather
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice and that still makes the problem be there.

Removing /usr/bin/libreoffice and instead making it a link to
/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin fixes the problem/bug.
Could it be that /usr/bin/libreoffice is started with /bin/sh that also
starts /usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice wich also is started through
/bin/sh ?
