I can't reproduce this in parole, which is another gstreamer-based video
player. The issue is specific to totem (where I did reproduce the bug
with a small oga file).

Oggs, AVI's affected as well. Apparently it's just MKV's that either
don't exhibit this or just manifest it differently.
