Title:
Ubuntu 12.04 Dashboard multime categories selected

Bug description:
Perhaps that's a feature, but I just can't understand how it can be
  usable or can't be configurable.

If I select a category, and want to see another one, the second
results are mixed with the first results.

In my view, that behaviour should be at least configurable, since
jumping from category to category means that I have to unselect a
previous category, to see only the results from only one category.
That's just not productive, since it's bound with more clicks and
takes more time to find an application.

If I know the name of the application I could type it ofcourse, but
what if I don't know the name - it's too confusing for new users.
